What's the commandlet to create a snapshot in Windows Server 2012?

I was reading on this forum that there *was* a commandlet called "New-VMSnapShot":

How do we go about creating snapshots in 2012 w/o using WMI?  And while we are at it, is there a commandlet for fixing chains in differencing disks?
